Description:
26-yr-old Snochia Moseley arrived to work as usual as a temporary employee at the Rite Aid Distribution Center in Aberdeen, Maryland at 8:00 am. An hour later, at approximately 9:00 am, she brandished a 9mm Glock handgun and apparently randomly started shooting employees without aiming both inside and outside the work facility. Police responded within five minutes. On arrival, Moseley had shot 6 people and then shot herself in the head. Of the six people shot, three were killed and three wounded. Moseley was pronounced dead at the hospital. The exact triggering event is not yet known; however the shooting is clearly an example of workplace violence. Witnesses described Moseley as a nice person who showed up to work wanting to pick a fight. Recent news reports suggest a disgruntled employee who argued with a fellow employee just before the shooting.
